- Make sure the wheels are parallel (measuring will help this)
- the wire will go 9mm into the wheel and a 2mm gap should be in-between the wheel and the plastic tube
- The cogs are push fit (meaning you need a hammer, or similar, to get them on)
- Make sure the teeth line up with each other and that the wires are up the right way (so it does not go backwards)
I then went into the workshop and began doing another base - this time proper. I measured them out properly and cut it into a rectangle. Using the sandpaper - I made the front very thin and slowly building up and there are no sharp edges on the front of the kart. (i noticed when looking at other, actual drag cars that they have rounded edges - for reducing air friction).
